As the month of February came to a close, we were delighted to welcome and entertain the local community as Muckross Park Hotel new owners at an Evening Reception in the hotel’s Yew Tree Restaurant.   History   In the opening speech, General Manager, Mr. O’Driscoll provided narrative tales of the 220 year proud tradition of hospitality at Muckross and we are certainly looking forward to opening the next chapter of this historic property with Sean and his team. We are very aware of the important role this wonderful hotel has played in the life of Muckross village and its importance in developing tourism in Killarney.

Local Community   Such history we are of no doubt is of utmost importance to our new neighbours. We were joined on the night by the Mayor of Killarney, John Joe Culloty, and Bishop of Kerry, Ray Browne. While Kate O’Leary, President of Killarney Chamber of Tourism & Commerce, and Michael Larkin, Chairman of the Muckross House Trustees, among many more dignitaries, were also in attendance.   We are privileged to be shown their support and assure that any guests whom we have the fortune of welcoming to the hotel, will continue to be treated ‘the Muckross way.’

Hotel Staff   Finally, we would like to thank the team at the hotel for running such a great night and are truly excited to be working with them over the coming years.
